Really, I only like that the ninja lizard shows up on this page. I was drawing like doo-doo throughout this issue with a few parts of panels turning out okay.
The World’s Finest. Commissioned piece of two of my favorite dudes. Been a minute since I’ve drawn some super-heroes so it was a nice change of pace.
8-Page preview of Voltron Year One #4 - out tomorrow - is up on Newsarama: http://www.newsarama.com/php/multimedia/album_view.php?gid=4421&page=8
This is a pretty fun issue with a LOT going on, so I hope you all enjoy it! We got Space-Vegas (Spagas? Vegaspace?), the main team teaming with another Space Explorer team, this giant 4-armed pimp, Sven half-naked for the first few pages, and a bunch of other stuff!
Written by Brandon Thomas, colors by Adriano Lucas, and art by some Craig guy.
Batman and Robin for the Omega-Sketch blog this week: http://omegasketch.blogspot.com/ I used the New Batman Adventures cartoon designs for the characters, because… I can…
Some Voltron Year One art from issue 2. I realized that I should probably post more stuff.
Voltron Year One art from issue 3… pencils/inks by me, colors by the amazing Adriano Lucas. I forgot to talk about it a few weeks back when it came out. Thanks to those giving it a shot! You’re the coolest.
J’onn J’onzz, the Manhunter from Mars, for the sketchblog this week. The theme was “Aliens” and I was pretty much the only lame who did a super-hero thing but hey, that’s my nerdy tendencies! I’m bummed I couldn’t do a better piece but time was limited this week. Go check out all the kick-ass contributions: http://omegasketch.blogspot.com/
Avengers piece, done for the return of the Omega Sketch blog. Check out all the others here: http://omegasketch.blogspot.com/
Had a lot of fun drawing the Hulk’s face and Cap’s always a good time.
Captain America head-sketch done for someone’s copy of The Vitruvian Underground. I like drawing him, he’s pretty fun.
A free head-sketch is available with purchase of the first issue here (for only 2 more now I think): http://clubchevon.bigcartel.com/
And you can read a good chunk of the book here: http://www.vitruvianunderground.com/index/webcomic.html
Only $3!
